Forum Commission

One of the things that I cherish most from the Forum I went to back in November, was the commissioning of the younger women by the "older" women. I couldn't wait to get my hands on an actual copy of the commissioning and with my "surprise" package a couple of weeks ago, I was able to type out the commission! So, for the sake of looking back on it in the future, and for you to read:

Our dear daughters and our beloved little sisters, this day, Nov 11, 2010, we publicly acknowledge your great work and high calling in Jesus Christ and your vital place in this generation. We pledge to be there for you. To give you whatever we have. To stand up for you and not to criticize you. To pray for you and to believe in what God can do with you. In the power of Christ you have what it takes to carry the torch of the Gospel to your God chosen generation. You are gifted by God and fitted for your calling. At all cost resist comparison and competition. We are one body. Our unity is in our diversity. Surrender yourself daily to love. Humble yourself daily to truly live. Child the future is in good hands, because it’s in God’s hands. Be strong and courageous. And be of good cheer, because Jesus is with you and He will keep you strong until the end. Now unto Him who is able to keep you from falling be glory and majesty, power and authority to Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen and amen.

Just listening to those words again the other day brought back to mind all that I came away from the Forum with! Such rich and deep blessings! Such desire to see God in the lives of those I come in contact with. I can't wait to see where He chooses to use me in the future!
