To follow up such a great performance in their Children's Choir Programs, we had a little Christmas Party the following week. The game was full of games and food...like any good party should be. We had a cookie stack, candy cane pick-up, snowman stack and my favorite...the reindeer nose dive. The kids wore reindeer antlers and tried to get a pom-pom to stick on the vaseline that was on their nose. Not so easy when you're trying to swing the pom pom from a piece of yarn coming from your mouth! We did get a couple of laughs!

Children's Choir Programs
December 9th was a busy day for our Children's Ministry. During the morning service, our Kingdom Kids Choir performed
"Camel Lot" for our congregation. It was a very cute and funny Christmas musical that pointed to the most important reason for Christmas, remember Christ's birth.
In the evening service, our Tiny Tuners presented
"The Greatest Christmas Miracle."
Of course anytime the pre-schoolers are involved, it's cute.
Both groups did an excellent job! Both performances were a big success! I couldn't ask for better teachers and leaders anywhere! These leaders give of their time and their talents to pour into these children. They make me proud!

Lion Face
A couple of months ago, we switched Sunday School Curriculum at church. I think it's agreed that teachers and kids both love the new Curr!
Of course the kids love that once a month, they get some sort of project/snack. These are the lion pizza faces they made to go along with the story of Daniel in the Lion's Den.

My girls
I'm incredibly blessed to live so close to my nieces during this time of their lives, and mine. I love to take surprise outings with them. The Saturday before the Fall Festival, I was working on preparations at the church when the thought occurred to me I needed lunch. Why not make it a date?
So I did.
With these cuties.

Wonderworks
One of the best parts about being in Children's Ministry is getting to hang out with kids...and sometimes getting to enjoy the things that kids enjoy!
During the summer (though I realize that was months ago), I always issue a challenge for the kids to memorize a verse a week (and even give them the verses that go along with what we're learning). They have to make a choice whether to accept the challenge or not. This past summer we had 4 take on the challenge - and so we took a small trip to reward them. We went to Wonderworks on Panama City Beach. It's safe to say we had a BLAST!
Mrs. Kelsey was willing to risk her stomach on the bike. I'm not one for going upside down...
Of course my favorite part was lazer tag, which was impossible to take a picture of while playing. Something tells me we'll be looking to do some more lazer tag in the future.
